DTP: "The PKK is a political organization"

The DTP assembly stated: "The PKK is a political organization that has formed as a result of not accounting for the Kurds and wants to find a solution to the Kurdish issue."

An action plan directed at the cross-border operation has been defined at the meeting of DTP main executive board meeting. DTP group vice president Fatma Kurtulan said that they do not have a warm attitude towards the 'human shieliding project.' The declaration issued after the meeting said: "This is a product of a dominant state mentality which insists on asserting the lack of a solution to the Kurdish issue. Instead of democratic expansions and seeking political solutions, this country postpones peace and dialog. The PKK is a political organization that has formed as a result of not accounting for the Kurds and wants to find a solution to the Kurdish issue."
